The Board of Trustees of Cabrini High School has set the tuition
for the 2025 - 2026 school year as follows:

Tuition — $12,575 

• Returning Student Tuition Deposit:  Due March 7, 2025 

Payment Plans and Fees

We are offering four (4) payment plans for the 2025 - 2026 school year. The admin fee will be spread equally over your tuition payments. The plans are:

Annual Plan (no admin fee)
Semi-Annual Plan ($230 admin fee)
Quarterly Plan ($455 admin fee)
Monthly Payment Plan ($910 admin fee)

Cabrini High School requires that the full amount of tuition be paid according to your selected payment plan through Blackbaud Tuition Management.

Frances X. Cabrini Presidential Scholarship
50% tuition scholarship with 94-93 percentile score

• Student must be accepted as an incoming 8th or 9th grader
• Student must have qualifying national percentages on the High School Placement Test taken in January of the application year
• Student must have A's and B's on their elementary academic record
• Student must have excellent elementary school conduct and attendance record
• Student must maintain a 3.5 GPA, as well as excellent conduct and attendance to maintain their scholarship

Cabrini High School is proud to offer several scholarships focused on both academics and personal interests, honoring Mother Cabrini's belief in fostering the whole child, mind and heart.

Alumnae Association (Legacy) Scholarship

• Awarded to a current or incoming student.
• Scholarship applications are announced and made available through the Alumnae Office.
• The scholarship becomes available and the winner is selected in the 2^nd semester of the school year, and announced at the first Assembly of the 1^stsemester of the following year. 
  • Note to incoming students who wish to apply...contact the Alumnae Office and provide your email to make sure you receive notifications. You may also look for the post on this website.
• Eligible students include daughters, granddaughters, and sisters of Cabrini High School alumnae.
• The legacy scholarship is a one-time award of $2,000.
• If there is no eligible legacy student for a particular year, the scholarship will not be awarded.
• If a student has applied or won the scholarship in past years, she is still eligible to apply again.
• The scholarship winner is selected by the Alumnae Association Board Scholarship Committee.
• The award is based on:
  • Completion of an application form
  • Letters of reference (personal, church/community, and school)
  • Submission of an original essay
  • Personal interview by the Alumnae Association Board Scholarship Committee

Pazos Education Fund

• Student who lives with Type I Diabetes.
• Students who have an immediate family member with Type I Diabetes.
• Applications will be reviewed by the PEF Selection Committee members, and awards will be for partial scholarships that can be used for annual tuition, books, and/or school fees. Scholarship funds will be paid directly to the school by The Catholic Foundation which houses the PEF.
• Applicant will be a full time student in grades K-12th in one of the New Orleans Archdiocesan Catholic Schools.
• Only one student per household may apply
• Applicant must show proof of acceptance into the school of choice.
• Only US citizens or permanent residents may apply
• Documentation needed: 
  • School acceptance letter
  • School report card
  • 2023 Tax forms - Signed
  • Endorsement letter from medical professional
  • School ID or Picture of Student

If someone in your household is effected by TYPE I diabetes, there is a scholarship available to the families of students attending catholic schools within the Archdiocese of New Orleans. The Pazos Education Fund (PEF) was created by Ms. Cynthia Pazos to help students and families affected by diabetes. Ms. Pazos knows that managing diabetes can be costly and can sometimes prevent students from choosing to attend a New Orleans Catholic High School. She created the PEF and this scholarship to assist those families who currently struggle with the financial stress of having to decide between medical and educational needs for their child. Applications will be accepted from September 1, 2024 until November 30, 2024, and applicants will be notified of the awards by February 15, 2025.

Cocchiara Scholarship in honor of Catherine Cocchiara and Lucy Cocchiara Roussel

• This scholarship is available to Cabrini High School students through the Cocchiara Foundation Scholarship program.
• Students qualify for the four-year award of tuition by:
  • Successfully completing 8th grade year at Cabrini High School.
  • Completing an application form.
  • Submitting an original typewritten essay of 350-500 words inspired by the life of John, Catherine, or Lucy Cocchiara.
• Cocchiara Scholarship applications and information will be distributed to all qualified students once grades are posted at the completion of their 8th grade school year.
• Final selection of the scholarship recipient(s) will be made by the Cocchiara Foundation.
• The scholarship is renewable subject to the following requirements: 
  • 2.75 GPA or higher at Cabrini.
  • Participation in a least one co-curricular activity at Cabrini.
  • Good behavior and attendance records.
• The benefactor of the scholarship is Louie Roussel III, Catherine's nephew and Lucy's son.

NOHH (New Orleans Hispanic Heritage) Foundation Scholarship

• These scholarships are available to Cabrini High School freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors through the New Orleans Hispanic Heritage Foundation Scholarship Program.
• Applications are announced and made available through the Development Office in October.
• Funding permitting, the awards are typically $1,000 each.
• Scholarships are based on:
  • Hispanic ancestry
  • 3.5 GPA or better
  • Financial need of the family
  • Student application form (completed by the student)
  • Parent application form (completed by the parent)
  • Parent consent form (completed by the parent)
• Every student matching the foundation’s requirements are nominated by Cabrini High School’s Scholarship Committee and the scholarship winners are chosen by the NOHH Foundation.

The Cefalutana Society's Salvadore J. Serio Presidential Scholarship

• This $1,000 scholarship is available through the generosity of The Cefalutana Society, in honor of their long-term, former president, Salvadore J. Serio.
• The funds for the scholarship are awarded in the Spring to one current Cabrini junior to be used for tuition and/or fees for her senior year.
• Open to all current Cabrini High School juniors in good standing, the The Cefalutana Society's Salvadore J. Serio Presidential Scholarship is awarded based on an essay contest in May.

Holly Elizabeth Theode ‘99 Memorial Valedictorian Scholarship

• This $1,000 scholarship is available through the generosity of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Thoede, Jr. in loving memory of their daughter, Holly, who was the Valedictorian of the Class of 1999.
• The funds for this scholarship are awarded at the Senior Luncheon to the valedictorian of Cabrini High School’s graduating class.

Financial Aid

CABRINI HIGH SCHOOL TUITION ASSISTANCE

• Need-based tuition assistance awarded to students who would not have the opportunity to attend Cabrini High School due to financial constraints.
• Students receiving financial assistance must complete a specified number of work study hours.
• Amount depends upon available funds and the number of qualified applicants.
• Assistance recipients are selected by Cabrini High School’s Financial Aid Committee.
• Financial aid applications will only be reviewed if the student is accepted and the tuition deposit has been paid. 
• Aid is not automatically renewed an must be applied for every year. 
• Returning families will not be eligible to reapply for financial assistance if a prior year balance remains on the student’s account.
• Applications open February 24, 2025 with a deadline to apply of March 7, 2025. Applications may be accepted after the deadline if funds remain. For more information on how to apply, click HERE.
  • Current tax returns will be needed to apply for financial aid, please make arrangements to file tax returns before March 15th  if you are applying for financial aid.

ASPIRING SCHOLARS

• Household income that does not exceed 250% of the federal poverty guidelines
• Must be a resident of Louisiana.
• Have attended a public school in Louisiana from October 1st to February 1st of the most recent school year; or entering kindergarten for the first time.
• Have participated in the Louisiana Scholarship Program (voucher) or Tuition Donation Credit Program for the previous school year. Priority is given to these students.

CHAMPIONS OF CATHOLIC EDUCATION 

• Students enrolled in grades K-12 at ANY Catholic School within the Archdiocese of New Orleans.
• While the Archdiocese strives to assist as many families as possible, an application does not guarantee tuition assistance.

• Each spring the Department of Catholic Education and Faith Formation gives families the opportunity to apply for tuition assistance through Facts Management.
• Application window: First Monday in February until April 15th (Tax Day) Tax return (2025) required to consider application complete.
• Schools and families notified of awards via email by August 1.

• If assistance is received through Champions of Catholic Education for the previous school year, the family will have to reapply for the next year, but there is no guarantee assistance will again be received.

ACE SCHOLARSHIP

• Need-based scholarship.
• The student had to have attended public school the 2024-2025 school year.

• We strongly encourage you to submit your application as early as possible and submit all needed documents because awards are given on a first come, first serve basis.
• Awards can be renewed in future years if the family still qualifies.

ARETE SCHOLARSHIP

• The student had to have attended public school the 2024-2025 school year.

You cannot receive both ACE and ARETE Scholarships however you may apply for both scholarships.
