Cheerleading

The primary focus of the Cabrini Crescent Cheerleaders is to be outstanding ambassadors of Cabrini High School by supporting all school activities and the athletic programs. The cheerleaders attend all home games for the Volleyball and Basketball teams. It is also mandatory for all cheerleaders to participate in all pep rallies, the Homecoming game, Open House, Christmas on the Bayou, Mardi Gras Parades, Friday Night Lights, Dance and Cheer Clinic, and any other school function where cheerleaders are needed to promote and represent Cabrini High School. The cheerleaders also participate in community events that arise throughout the year.

 The cheerleading program at Cabrini High School is also a competitive cheerleading team. The cheerleaders will compete in the UCA Baton Rouge Regional Cheer Competition, the UCA Louisiana Regional Cheer Competition, and are planning to attend the National High School Cheerleading Championship at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex on the grounds of Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.  The cheerleaders practice year-round in order to perform at the highest level. They practice a couple of days per week throughout the summer and participate in workouts that will prepare the girls for the rigorous routines they will perform throughout the year.
