Dr. Felipe Fernández-Armesto of the University of Notre Dame visited Cabrini High School to present the to Spanish and Social Studies students while in town for the Francisco Bouligny Lecture, an annual lecture series presented by The Historic New Orleans Collection.

Come show your Crescent spirit at Cabrini High School Night as the New Orleans Pelicans take on the Chicago Bulls on November 7 at 7:00 p.m. Also, catch the Eclipse Dance Team and junior dance team perform at the Pelicans Primetime at 6:30 p.m. Deadline to purchase tickets is October 19.

Cabrini's National Art Honor Society is competing in the Painted Pumpkin Patch contest, sponsored by Lakeside Shopping Center and Raising Cane's. Voting will take place only on October 13 and 27 from 2 – 4 p.m. in the center court area of Lakeside Mall. As the reigning champs, Cabrini needs your votes to defend our title!

Cabrini's Student Council members were officially inducted into office for the 2018-2019 school year on Tuesday, September 25. Following mass, each member took their oath into office.

The vision for the Vanessa Lauren Wolff Scholarship Fund is to encourage our Crescents to stop drunk driving. The deadline to apply for the scholarship is Monday, October 8.

Cabrini celebrated its annual Homecoming festivities on September 20 with the traditional pep rally, team performances, parade, and Volleyball game.

Sophomore Catherine Mercatante auditioned for and was selected to sing with the Louisiana American Choral Directors Association All-State Women's Honor Chorus.

The Cabrini Volleyball Team went 5-0 at the Catholic League Volleyball Tournament, competing against De La Salle, Ascension Catholic, Chapelle, Archbishop Hannan, and St. Scholastica.

The Alumnae Legacy Scholarship was awarded to Amber Pitre '19, daughter of Charlene Gardebled Pitre '86 and sister of Heather Pitre '21 and Angelina Hull '19, sister of Holly Hull Bertuglia '00.

The first Birthday of the Principal kicked off with celebrating the birthdays of students and faculty who have birthdays in either August or September.

The Class of 2019 received their senior rings from President Truxillo and Principal Hrapmann at the Senior Ring Mass and Ceremony on September 6.

Olivia Oser, a graduate of the Class of 2012, has been named the new Director of Alumnae for Cabrini High School.

Big Sister/Little Sister Party was one fun party, filled with amazing costumes, skits, games, and tons of "sizzling like bacon"!

The Class of 2019 seniors lit their little sisters candles during the cherished Candlelight Ceremony to honor friendship and their beloved Cabrini memories and traditions.

The Class of 2019 received their "caps" made by their little sisters for Senior Hat Day on August 23. Only 268 days until they get to wear the real thing!

Cabrini is honored to have been selected to receive a 3D printer from the GE Additive Education Program. Out of 3,000 applicants, 600 schools were chosen from around the world.

Sydney Loupe, a recent Louisiana State University softball player, has been named head coach of the Cabrini High School softball team for the 2018-2019 school year.
