The Cabrini Soccer team defeated Opelousas High School 1-0 in double overtime on Friday, February 1 to advance to the 2019 LHSAA Division III Soccer Playoffs. On Saturday, February 2 the Cabrini 3200 Meter Relay team of the Track & Field team set a new Cabrini record with a time of 10:41.11.

Eighteen Cabrini students and faculty members made the long trip to Washington, D.C. with nearly 500 other students from the Archdiocese of New Orleans to March for Life in hopes to overturn the Roe v. Wade ruling from 1973.

Cynthia Hogarty, a representative from the Fashion Institute of Design in California, visited Cabrini's Art II and AP Art classes on January 17, 2019. She discussed art portfolios with the AP students and different careers in art with the Art II students.

At the end of each semester students who have maintained a scholastic average of 4.0 or above will be placed on Cabrini's Principal's Honor Roll. Those students with a scholastic average of 3.5 to 3.9 will be placed on the Alpha Honor Roll. Those students with a scholastic average of 3.0 to 3.4 will be placed on the Beta Honor Roll. Students with a D or F in any subject will be excluded from the honor roll regardless of GPA.

Five teams of Cabrini students have been selected as finalists for the 2019 Trust Your Crazy Ideas Challenge, sponsored by Junior Achievement and The Brees Dream Foundation. The students attended a press conference with Drew Brees on December 11 to formally announce and congratulate all of the finalists.

Students participated in Dressember on December 7 by paying $1 to dress up with dignity, modesty, femininity, and their own fashion to advocate for the inherent dignity of all women. This was Cabrini's fifth year participating in the national fundraiser.
